Open Question: flying with a 2 month?

Me and my husband are planning a holiday in april. im currently pregnant with my first child and he will be born end of janurary (due date 27th) we plan to fly on april 6th. that will make my bub around 2 months. is there anything i should be prepared for and is this safe? i just wanted to ask for some advice before i went ahead a booked the flight. and also am i booking way too early considering all the things that may go wrong. i dont want to jinx the pregnancy. ill be flying from sydney to sri lanka. transit flight thanks for ur advice...
